I’m here to explore the human side behind development. I have spent the past 15 years developing and leading development teams.
When I started leading teams, I discovered how important the non-technical aspects are to the development process, and as the leader, the spotlight shines brightest on you. There were a lot of lessons learned, some easy, some a little tougher, but all of them valuable.
Every shop has unique technical problems specific to their environment and industry.
However, every shop has the same human issues with personal development, relationships, communication, teamwork, etc.
